As you grow and expand your views, you will leave others behind. Don’t be afraid of their opinions and hide your wings. Be proud of who you are and spread your wings to discover new heights. Not everyone is going to agree with you and that’s ok. You don’t need their approval to be who you are. You are the only one who can be you. Be the best you possible with confidence, kindness and love of self. Do that and others will stop trying to make you into the mold that makes them comfortable and holds you back.

Don’t get hung up on the negative opinions of closed-minded people. They’re stuck in the gloomy shadows intolerance and afraid to accept anything different from themselves. They breed hate, anger and anxiety over things they know nothing about, and limit their experiences in life.

These are not the people you need to gain approval from, no matter who they are. Family, friends or lovers, cannot validate you. Only you can do that.

The unknown isn’t a scary place. It’s a place of excitement, adventure and wonder. You don’t have to become part of the things you discover. Learning about new things doesn’t turn you into those things unless you want to accept them and pull them into your life.

Are your beliefs and perspectives so weak that they can be manipulated so easily? I seriously doubt it. You are the Knight today and you are much stronger and more confident than you may allow yourself to believe. Time to start seeing yourself for who you really are.

Cups represent the essence of Emotions & Apathy, Happiness & Despair, Abundance & Lack. They are the suit of Hearts in a regular deck of cards. Fitting since they hold other things within their contours through gentle effortless action. And did you notice, the cup causes other things to conform to their shape? With effortless guidance and support.

Don’t be contained, be the container!

So while you’re worrying about attaining the validation of others, don’t forget they NEED your approval too. They don’t want to face the negative aspects of their path and be honest with who they are. As you grow, evolve and get closer to enlightenment, you are showing them what’s possible. You can try to talk with them and support them to move forward and make positive change in their lives. But you can’t learn for them and you might need to leave them behind as you journey forward.

Stop feeling guilty because others aren’t willing to allow you to be who you are. Don’t accept the limitations they place on your vessel to hold you back from the potential within you. You are the only one who can be you. Stop letting others crowd your space and collapse your wings. You are the container and you should decided not only what you hold within yourself, but how much room you provide it to grow.
