Be proud and confident. You’ve learned a lot, you’ve come a long way and you deserve to stand tall, with your shoulders squared and your head held high. Don’t let those who have turned their self-doubt into nay-saying, conceit and bullying to push you around. Show them compassion, but confront their actions that put others down so they can feel better. Let them know it’s ok, but you’re willing to help them find their own self-worth…. if they’ll let you. just remember, you can’t learn lessons for others.

When someone wants to start a fight because they’re having a bad day, don’t take the bait. Even if the person is your boss, remember they’re human and not a hierarchical robot. They can have a bad day too, but that doesn’t mean they can take it out on you.
There’s a fine line between confidence and arrogance. Take note which side of the line you’re standing on. Confidence is strength, knowing you do not need others to validate or approve of you.
