Take time to look up what you don’t know. Making assumptions today can get you in a bit of a pickle. Make sure you understand the requirements and what’s expected of you before you commit to something. Focus on the reality and not the “what you want it to be”. You’ll save yourself some heart-ache and maybe even some money.
Don’t throw caution to the wind and fly off in a dream. Be honest with yourself and take time to review what’s really happening. If it sounds to good to be true, it probably is. So don’t rush into something that you may regret later.
What you’re hoping for, may very well be what’s presented to you. But if they are, they’re worth waiting for and they’ll be there next week. If they’re not, it’s better you discover the issues now, instead of looking at your situation with rose-colored glasses that will cloud your judgement. Once those glasses are broken, there’s no getting them back.
It’s ok to look for the best in situations, to see the best in people and walk through the day with Faith that you’re going to be taken care of. Having a positive outlook creates opportunity, good surprises and success. But remember life is about balance and all things must be tempered in some measure of reality.
If you know the battery is dead in the car, all the faith in the world isn’t going to get the car started. It might help you discover the solution and could bring you an unexpected source of magik that helps to replace the dead battery. But you’re going to have to do something and put forth a little effort of your own to physically solve the problem.
“Have Faith, Not Hope.
Hope is a beggar. Faith is a Believer.
Hope walks through the fire. Faith leaps over it.”

The adage “God helps those who help themselves” exists in every religion in some form. You can pray, meditate, cast a spell, light a candle and do a myriad of other spiritual things to solve an issue or put forth energy toward an ultimate goal. But unless you follow that good spiritual effort up with physically putting your hopes and dreams into place, you’ll only be spinning your wheels.
Take time today to ensure you’re living in balance. Look at the long-term impacts of the choices and decisions you make. Are they really going to pan out the way you expect? Live in the moment and enjoy what comes your way. Be gracious and thankful. Don’t feel pressured. And if you need more time, don’t hesitate to ask for it. There’s nothing wrong with saying “I feel a bit overwhelmed right now, can I give you an answer tomorrow or next week?” If the situation is best for you and meant to be, you’ll be supported and all will be ok.
