You can be the herald of good tidings, but be careful how and to who you share your news. But discernment is needed today. Not everyone needs to know what you have discovered. You could share what you’ve learned with the wrong person and create unwanted competition for yourself. Be cautious and express your excitement to only the folk you trust the most. When the decision is in the bag and you have the fruits of your labor in hand, then you can wake the streets as the Towne Crier and revel in your secret, along with your success!

Share your good luck and fortune with those who have your back and will help support your efforts. But don’t let your excitement in your discovery get the best of you and cry out to all those in town. Some folk out there don’t want you to succeed. And they’ll use your information for their own gains.

You shouldn’t assume everyone in your office/class are on your side either. There are some who are trying to get an upper hand and they won’t mind using your information to better their efforts in your small circle at your expense.

Where you share your news is as important as who you share it with. Be cautious on letting casual conversations being overheard and letting the cat out of the bag. Your discretion can win you favor and good points with decision makers. Even if you don’t realize they’re paying attention.

How you handle the news of the day will display the level of trust you are granted. Can you hold a confidence and be trusted with greater secrecy? Or is being the town crier more important to you, than the accuracy of the information you share? Gossip has no place in today’s news. And neither does betraying a confidence.

Now is a day to keep things to yourself. If you’re busting at the seems to tell your news to, pick one or two people you know will keep quiet and be discrete. There’s at least one person you can trust and who will be excited for you. Simply remind them not to share your news until the Ts are crossed and the ink is dry. Magik is in the air and the energy is positively electric. Keep it that way until next week when you shout from the hill tops and tell the world.
