A Week of Spring Break…plus one

Our spring break was exceptionally busy, active and filled with some much needed adventure! We took time to visit our own homeland of Virginia. A tour of Manassas Battlefield to see one of our favorite statues of Stonewall Jackson. We also visited the Fredericksburg Battlefields and where Jackson was accidentally shot by his own men. Then we headed up to D.C. and took a tour of the Smithsonian’s Air and Space Museum.

We walked and walked and when you thought you couldn’t walk any further, we walked some more. We saw planes, trains, galaxies and super novas. Buildings big and tall, old and new and a few on wheels. We visited with family and ate out; a lot. Got stuffed, several times. And enjoyed desserts of varying kinds.

We had such a good time that we had to extend our break by one day to catch up on the nitty-gritty things of every day life. I need a vacation to rest up from our vacation.  We seriously had a good week!!

Consequently we didn’t pull a tarot card for the daily meditation today. Sorry about that. But we will be back tomorrow! So stay tuned. I’m looking forward to getting back into our regular routine.

Spring has sprung here in the Northern Hemisphere and magik seems to be working hard to bring about new things to the fairly new year!

More tomorrow.
