Follow your gut feeling today. Don’t dismiss the inner voices making suggestions about what you need to be doing, checking up on, or avoiding. Don’t let others try to guilt you into doing something and stop feeling bad about saying “no” to something you don’t really want to do. It’s your schedule, keep it in your domain and be the ruler over it.
Your gut feelings today are right on target. Make sure you’re listening and stop feeling guilty about being responsible over your own tasks and desires. You do plenty for others and today you have things on your schedule that need or that you want to do for you.
Why should you sacrifice your plans because someone else couldn’t be accountable to the commitments they made? Yes there’s a time and place to make sacrifices for a friend, for family or for someone you really care about. Today isn’t that day. Seriously, if you give into the guilt, you’ll never have time for you and what you need to get done.
If someone gets upset because you say “no” to their request, than they had an expectation of you and your time that they didn’t have a right to hold. Is that really your fault? Only if you made a commitment to them earlier that you’re not keeping today. So why are you feeling guilty? Maybe if they had asked you a few days ago for some help, you could have been there. But don’t give into their manipulation of guilt. That’s them being selfish and self-centered about their needs.
If your gut feelings are trying to help you avoid something, then listen to your instincts. Don’t talk yourself out of hearing your own inner voice. It could be trying to keep you out of trouble or danger. No matter how good the offer sounds, you know something isn’t right and you had other plans today anyway. So follow through with the calls you’ve been thinking you need to make.
Better to do it now, than to be too late next week when you need to have something done and in place. Make sure you get your tasks completed and the rest of the week will go smoothly. Not to mention you’ll avoid a number of problems that creep up next week, from not getting things done this week.
Running a smooth course begins with being the leader that governs the domain on a daily basis. You can’t run away and you can allow yourself to be manipulated by others. Even if that “other” person is the other side of yourself trying to avoid situations you don’t want to deal with.
The Queen tells us all (men and women) to govern our emotions with balance and responsibility. Don’t let those negative feelings create scary situations that aren’t even a possibility. Or turn things into issues that aren’t even problems. Relax! Be the boss of your schedule. Make reasonable and balanced choices about what you do, where you go and what needs to get done today. You’ll feel much better about what’s on your table as the day comes to a close. And you’ll be happy with the pile of completed tasks vs. the pile of things yet to do.
A Little Numerology Today
When I posted the card WordPress let me know this is the 1202nd post on Reflections. Well I thought that was kind of cute, since today is 12-02. Kind of screamed out for a little numerological analysis.
If you’ve seen my number insights before you know that Mathematics is the only language shared by all humans regardless of culture, religion, or gender. Numerology is the study of the divine or mystical relationship between a count or measurement and life. It has many systems and traditions and beliefs. My practice of numerology is Shamanistic Numerology that’s based on Celtic and North American Shamanistic teachings. It’s not the only method, the best method or the true method. It’s simply one of many methods and one that resonates most with me and my personal perspectives of the Divine and the world we live in.
From a Shamanistic Numerology standpoint, today’s number is a Sub-Prime number and as a numerical number it represents the spiritual aspect of this event.
— For looking at a specific date/day/number
A quick review; Prime numbers are those numbers that are specific to you, your birthday, social security or other numbers that will stick with you throughout your lifetime. Sub-Prime numbers are numbers associated with you that change over time. Your phone number, an employee number, drivers license number and other things like that. A date falls into the category of Sub-Prime, because it only comes around once and quickly changes to the next day in the scheme of your lifetime.
The numerical version of a number represents the spiritual aspect of the analysis. And the alphanumeric version represents the aspects of physical life. If the number is seen initially in a numerical form, you wouldn’t usually translate it to an alphanumeric. But you could.
Five – The number of chaos and force, influences, and creation.
- This number is associated with Jupiter.
- This number is associated with the Holly Tree.
- This number is associated with the Wolf.
- It represents Chaos and Creation (out of chaos comes creation).
- Positive Direction: The number of leadership and the executive. This is the number of optimism and vision. Being able to see through the chaos and create success. Those with 5 in their life are assured of their own ability to succeed and create success even in adversity. They are adventurous and easily take risks.
- Negative Direction: 5 can sometimes be too risky and make decisions based on a whim instead of inner intuition and research. They can over simplify, or live in a perspective of what could be instead of what is. While this might be beneficial in business, it’s detrimental in relationships and family.
Well I think that certainly fits the Queen’s message for today.
