A little voice told me to break the card down and explain the messages and where they’re coming from. (This seems to be happening a lot this summer). Ok, here goes:

The main feature in today’s card that keeps pulling my attention are the nearly hidden goggles in the background of the cup. Between the warm success of the Sun and the Champions Chalice, resides your perspective for the energy flow of this weekend (that starts today and goes through Monday. It’s a holiday here in the U.S., so the message of this card is working through to Monday night).

There’s two ways to see this goggle feature. You’ve let go of the rose-colored glasses and can see clearly what lies ahead. And/Or you’re being watched. All eyes are on you, watching to see what you will do today and through the weekend. Some out of love, to catch you if you stumble. Others out of intrigue to watch you stumble and pounce when you’re down for their own greed and ego.

Those who care won’t let the negativity get too close to you. They’ll be protecting you from angst and ignorance. Holding you up and having your back because they truly care about you. They will float on the turbulent waters and keep them calm. They are providing you with a bridge to walk safely across the rapids of turmoil, to emerge on the far side of success. You may not even notice the turbulence, because that love, care and concern are forcing the rapids to calm, and closing in on the snakes who wish for your failure.

But success is what you’re due and success is what you’ll have through the weekend. Enjoy it, revel in it, and be thankful for it. Don’t worry about offending the nay-sayers. You’ll offend them no matter what you do, so ignore them and focus on what’s right in front of you. Be blessed and acknowledge the kindness you’re given. Raise the cup of victory and celebrate the success with those who mean the most. You’ll be overwhelmed by the support, outpouring of love and excitement at the accomplishments you achieve through out the weekend. This is your time! Take it! It’s your reward for all you’ve been through.
