Today’s Tarot Meditation Drawing: The Star

The Star

Mystic Faery Tarot by Linda Ravenscroft

Relax and share your search with those of like mind. It’s a good time to share what you’ve learned and learn from others along the way. Being open to other perspectives helps you nurture those who are struggling, but it also helps you wade through the flow of knowledge and discover new food for thought. Don’t let fear be your guide. Instead, let the Star light help you see what else is out there in the Divine Universe.

Additional Insight:

Taking a look at other perspectives doesn’t mean you have to accept them and apply them to your world. You can learn about others and their views to gain understanding, insight and tolerance for how others walk through their world.

When we share our knowledge and experiences we speak out loud what it is we think we believe and know. Doing so allows us to test our theories and perspectives against other ideas. Do they stand up to the scrutiny? Should they be refined or altered? Or perhaps they simply need to be expanded.

You can’t test your views and grow if you’re unwilling to be open to constructive criticism and debate. Through discussion you may find that this aspect of your beliefs don’t stand up well with that aspect of your beliefs. If you find contradictions in your own views, it’s a good sign that you have more reading and research to do. Don’t become angry when someone else doesn’t agree with you because of that same recognition of conflict. “I didn’t think of it until now” is a perfectly acceptable response.

By sharing your ideas and perspectives you may discover information that you didn’t know existed. You can gain insight and interest that may not change your mind, but may change the way you look at what you think you know. And that new perspective may allow you to expand your own views and be open to new thoughts.

The important thing to remember about being a shining star is you can never know it all. You don’t see everything, even from the highest perspective. Because there’s always a “dark side of the moon” that you can’t see unless you’re willing to travel around to the other side and take a look. You don’t have to stay there, but the new perspective gives you more to look at and more to take in.

So don’t be afraid to shine your light. But don’t be afraid to shine your light on new things and explore what they have to offer. You might even find you agree with the new ideas and want to alter what it is you thought you believed.
