Today’s Tarot Meditation Drawing: Strength

Strength

Mystic Faery Tarot by Linda Ravenscroft

You wear the crown and govern your own domain. Don’t allow others to push you into something you would otherwise avoid doing. Their guilt trip is a manipulation of your emotions and not one of friendship or caring. Step back, allow your heart and head to heal and allow your strength of spirit to reclaim your day and your future. You have survived much..you’re stronger for it..so don’t be afraid to say ‘No’. It really will be ok.

Additional Insight:

When the major Arcana comes up, we’re often dealing with matters of a spiritual nature. Spiritual lessons, karma or expressions of the inner spirit and knowledge. The Strength card has come up twice is two days. There is much work going on that deals with our own inner spiritual strength. Take note of these messages.

Sometimes when we ask for something, the answer is no. Don’t doubt yourself. Don’t let others to control your emotions, or your actions. You’ve earned the right to speak up for yourself, to take care of you and sometimes that means saying “No” to someone who wants something from you. If they get angry, then they don’t have your best interest in mind and they have little respect for you. If you give in, you aren’t showing yourself any respect either. It’s time to take care of the self and follow your own heart and gut  feelings.

And don’t worry about those who become offended. Simply tell them, the truth. Either explain you don’t want to do that, it’s not something you would feel comfortable with. Or tell them you have too much on your plate as it is and you can’t take on anything else.
