Stop throwing daggers at others. Your mood is not their fault. Calm down and talk yourself into being at peace with your emotions. It’s ok to have feelings. You’re human after all. But don’t let them get the best of you and cause you to do or say things you may regret later. Acknowledge that you have them, good, bad or indifferent. But don’t allow them to run your life today. You need to be in balance and in control to make sure you’re getting things done that need your attention.
Additional Insight:
Being overly excited or emotionally angry, is part of life. But how you feel is under your control. Don’t blame others for how you choose to be in this moment. No one “Makes” you feel this way or that. You make those choices all on your own.
But don’t be so hard on yourself for having emotions either. You’re an incarnated spirit who is here to experience life and having emotions are part of that experience. No one can be joyfully happy all the time. It’s not realistic and it’s not something anyone can do. So stop be angry at yourself and taking it out on others.
Instead, accept your emotions and acknowledge your feelings. Focus on balancing your reactions so you don’t make bad choices in a moment of extremes, no matter which side they’re on. You can even make the wrong move when you’re overwhelmed by glee, passion or excitement. So be cautious. Continue reading
