Today’s Tarot Meditation Drawing: Seven of Swords –

7 of Swords

Mystic Faery Tarot by Linda Ravenscroft

Nurture your search for something better. Have Strength! Don’t give up on yourself or on you plans to implement your dreams and bring more beautiful things into your world. You have at least one person standing behind you, firmly on your side and cheering you on. Lean on them and let their energy boost your efforts to stay focused on YOU! Today is the time to believe in yourself; even when no one else does. Keep hope alive! You CAN do this!

Additional Insight:

Dreaming alone will not get the job done. You must put practical action into place and just “Do it”! Don’t let the criticism, angst and anger of others pull you down and destroy the confidence you have in your idea. This is your life and your dream; not theirs. They don’t have to walk in your shoes or deal with the challenges or celebrate the successes for that matter.

Move the nay-sayers aside, put on blinders and stay focused on YOUR path. All that energy you’re putting out for someone else is taking you off your goal to greater fulfillment and success. Even if their road seems “imperative”; it’s nothing more than a diversion from the bigger picture.

Stay focused and committed to your goals. Let your supporters remind you of what’s really important. Allow their enthusiasm to push you along to your dream. Let them be the extra inspiration and additional strength needed to propel you forward and keep your focus on the prize. They’re willing to take the chance, believe in you and make the sacrifices. Are you willing to do the same?

Believe in yourself! Focus and implement your plan. Just Do It!

Blessings On Memorial Day – Thank You

Fallen But Not Forgotten

Fallen But Not Forgotten

For many this weekend is simply an extended three days away from work. But for others it’s a reminder of what they’ve lost and the sacrifices that have been made for freedom. Formerly known as Decoration Day, it originated after the American Civil War to commemorate the fallen Union Soldiers. The south too had its day of Decoration, but the date of celebration varied through out each region of the nation.

On June 28, 1968, Congress passed the Uniform Holidays Bill, which moved four holidays, including Memorial Day, from their traditional dates to a specified Monday in order to create a convenient three-day weekend. The change moved Memorial Day from its traditional May 30th date to the last Monday in May. The law took effect at the federal level in 1971.

From its origins, Decoration Day expanded with each passing year becoming more nationally recognized for all Veterans of the Armed Forces and from every war the United States participated in. The practice grew again after World War II when Decoration Day slowly transitioned to Memorial Day and included any family member that had passed. It became a day of remembering relatives and decorating cemeteries, whither or not they were service men and women. Many suggest the sacrifices that all Americans made during WWI and WWII to support our troops deserved recognition as well. Thus the day of honoring those who made sacrifices and lived through the hardships of war were included in Memorial Events.

Today Memorial Day is seen as one of the two biggest Patriotic Days of the year. Coming second only to the 4th of July. Flags are placed on grave sites of those who paid the greatest price for our freedom and flowers are laid by those we have lost and remember with memories and love.

What ever your method of celebration and honor this weekend, when you see a soldier thank them for their service. Let them know you appreciate their sacrifice and support them here and over there.

Blessings On this Memorial Day everyone. Please have a safe and relaxing extended weekend! And spend a few moments remembering what this weekend is about. – A deep and heart felt Thank You to all the Men, Women and Soldier Animals of our Armed Services, living and in spirit!

Today’s Tarot Meditation Drawing: Six of Swords – Inverted

Six of Swords Inverted

Mystic Faery Tarot by Linda Ravenscroft

Every rose has its thorns. Every choice, good, bad or indifferent has its consequences. Before you start making decisions, make sure you’re seriously thinking things through. Understand all the potential outcomes and decide what might need to be altered or adjusted to keep your plans moving in the right direction and for the best result.

Additional Insight:

Even the blessings and welcomed opportunities in life have their drawbacks. Life is filled with give and take, making sacrifices and dealing with the consequences of your actions and choices. Even the good things that land on your path will have issues that you really need to think through before you jump on the bandwagon.

Make sure you read the fine print. Understand everything that goes along with the decisions you make today. There maybe a few things you don’t want to give up, or will have to contend with in order to achieve what you want. Are you truly ready for them and willing to accept what you may have to give up?
