You’re going to blow the top off this place and put on a light show that will be the envy of all. Just because it’s dark doesn’t mean it’s bad. Things really are working out in your favor and sometimes, you need the darkness to really let your light shine. Fireworks are better at night after all. Don’t cave to the pressure. Believe in yourself and have Faith all is going to be ok! Cause it is.

Walk your path this week with faith and know you’re going to be ok. Everything is working out as it should and though you feel tied down and “put under” the doom and gloom; things really aren’t that bad.

You’ll feel much better about things by weeks end and soon you’ll find yourself celebrating in grand style. Sometimes we must walk through the fire to let go of the old patterns that hold us back and keep us from attaining what we need.

Other times, we must have faith that we are being looked after and guided to the place we’re needed the most. And some of your struggle is not yours to carry. But rather it belongs to another who must walk through the fire on their own terms and for their own lessons. You can’t learn those for them, nor can you carry their karma in their stead. Resources For Learning

I’ve recently gotten into some conversations about learning and researching other belief systems. How can we build tolerance for each other, when we don’t even understand the perspectives others hold? We must start with reading, research and learning.

That doesn’t mean you’re going to be converted to another belief. If that does happen, then maybe you weren’t as anchored in your proclaimed belief in the first place. There’s nothing to be afraid of, unless you don’t think your views and beliefs can stand up to comparison or scrutiny. In which case, why would you want to follow a system of belief that isn’t valid within your own standards?

Learning about others can actually strengthen your own beliefs by expanding your views. When you remove the limitations from your mind, you can see a much larger view of the world around you. That might give you something to think about and lead you to research within your own beliefs to discover how this relates to that, or how does this explain that, and so on. Continue reading →

To all those who support our military, in the past and in the present!
To all those who fight for our freedoms and our rights, in everyday life.

While you celebrate this weekend, remember all those who came before us and sacrificed so much. The men and women of our armed forces of course! But don’t forget those who put all they had on the line for you. The founding fathers, the families and the patriots who stand tall, who fight with their voice or their pen. It takes more than brute force to make freedom remain free. It takes a nation of people from sea to sea.

So make sure you exercise your freedoms each day. Not only on the 4th, but each time of the year when your voice can be heard. Many have died for your right to sing out. So show your respect, not in hollow words of thanks or waves of recognition. But where it counts most, in the town hall meetings, the city square and the voting booth. But do it with dignity, civility and respect. For those who came before you didn’t die to promote hate. They gave of themselves, their family and fate, so all could be free in the land of the brave!

For Your Weekend

My friend Rayne has sent me a few messages today; and posted on FB that she needed a drawing for today because of a big event coming up this weekend. I’ve known her for nearly 20years; so I gave in to her request even though we’re on break.

So here’s a special Tarot Meditation Message for Friday and this weekend.

Segregating yourself from the world is not going to change your current struggles. It’s only going to make you feel alone and walled off from those who care about you. Choose to be happy and live the day with what you do have.

Additional Insight:

Things are not as broken down as you think they are. And you do have enough to get through the weekend at the very least. Stop putting your focus on the financial and look at the abundance you have in other areas of your life.

Focusing on the lack will only bring more of the same. Stop wallowing in the self-pity! You’re complaining about someone in your home not helping out. At least you have someone in your life. At least you have a home and roof over your head. There’s always someone out there who has it worse than you do. So if you have some form of love around you; you’re richer than some of the richest millionaires in the world.

A Little Vacation

Everyone needs a break now and then. And we’re taking our summer break now that all the kids are out of school around here. So we’ll be floating in the water, sitting by the shore around the fire pit, roasting marshmallows and telling stories.

The Summer Solstice – Time For Faeries

Celebrating Faeries, Wishes and The Good Ole Summertime

The Summer Solstice rings in the waning year and begins the slow good-bye of the sun as the days become shorter and the darkness returns to the land. Here in the Northern Hemisphere, we celebrate the Summer Solstice on June 21st or 22nd in the Southern Hemisphere it falls on December 21st or 22nd.

As the story goes, the Oak King has ruled over the Earth, bringing the Sun to warm the ground so fields could be planted for wheat, barley and gardens can grow. When the solstice arrives, the Holly King wakes from his slumber and challenges the Oak for supremacy in the sky.

Their battles rage through the summer as the Oak King fights to hold on to his love, Mother Earth. The clashes between these Kings are heard through the Thunder drums of summer storms as lightning crackles from the striking of their swords in bright explosions.

To watch over the land, the Faeries come out at night to protect the children of Mother Earth and their forest homes from the battles that rage on beyond the clouds above. The rabbits, squirrels, birds, trees and flowers are all cared for by the magikal Fae and even you are protected beneath their wings.

If you honor the work of the Fae on the special Summer Solstice night, they may return your kindness by helping to manifest a wish you asked during the Solstice festival. For this is the night the Fae dance by the bonfires and spread their magik across the land beneath the light of Grandmother Moon.
