Nurture your soul and don’t allow the little nitpicking from others to damping your spirit. Fear, anxiety and sadness often form into attacks upon others. So take a deep breath today and try to find something compassionate and kind to say or do for those nitpickers around you.
It’s a day to control your emotions and your responses to others. Don’t give up your “power” and allow someone else to manipulate you just because they’re having a bad day, week, month, life, or whatever. You’re not responsible for their sorrows and you can’t fix things for other people. Especially when they don’t want to fix their issues for themselves.
Sometimes it’s take a little extra effort to ignore the way someone is trying to push our buttons and make us angry. But when we remind ourselves that their attacks are coming from a place of self loathing, it might be easier to deflect the insults. Smile and remind them that you’re sorry they’re having a rough day. But they don’t have the right to take it out on you. Continue reading
