You can sit back and stew in your angst and frustration, but you know that’s not going to change things. Stop tapping your fingers on the table, or knocking your foot against the table leg. You made the choices that brought you to this point and you have things to do so all will be resolved. Just get it done so you can move on and leave the rest behind. You know this isn’t serving you well. So come on. Stop pouting and welcome in the new!
No one can take over this task for you. No one can do it better than you can. Get the load of dead fish off your shoulders and lighten the load on your back. The more you keep on this path, the more you’re allowing for the possibility of the other shoe to drop. Really? That’s what you really want to do?
Enough with the excuses. Make your list of what needs to be removed and taken away. Add the new stuff that has you exhausted and exacerbated. You have the opportunity to get it all taken care of and you’ll never how to deal with this crap again! The best is still to come and it’s all ahead of you! But you have to make room for it. And it can’t arrive until you’ve resolved the left over baggage.
While you’re doing your part, make sure others involved in the task are getting their steps of this project completed as well. If you’re paying an expert to do something, hold them to the task. Keep them accountable and don’t do their work for them. Stand up for yourself and make it clear your time and energy has just as much value as theirs. They took on this task, time for them to step up to the plate and deal with their inaction or mistakes.
By Friday afternoon, you’ll feel a lot better about where things stand and what has been done. The end will be in sight and your cups will have a chance to fill up and maybe even over flow in certain areas of your life. Don’t give up now. You’re in the home stretch to bring the necessary changes into fruition. A few more nods, sign offs, and stamps of approval and you’re finally free! Now get to it!
