Time to see your cups as half full, instead of half empty. Stop seeing the world as a flat one sided obstacle that stands in your way. You have blessings in your life that are going to waste or being taken for granted. Change your perspective and view the world from Mind, Body and Spirit. You’ll have a much better view and a fabulous weekend to boot.
We can get so lost in the struggle that we forget what we’re doing all that work for. We allow the stress and strain to change our personality, our character and who we want to be, that even the best optimist can slowly become yet another pessimist. The world has enough of those.
Take time today and through the weekend to rediscover the whole and complete you. Sit in quiet solitude and be honest with yourself. What or who has made you jaded? Do you want to win the battles yet lose the war because you allowed the past to change you for the worse?
Take time to examine the choices you’ve made and the attitudes you’ve acquired. Replace the fear of being hurt and disappointed with forgiveness. Even if you’re only forgiving yourself for the choices you made or the negative thoughts you’ve been playing over in your head. It’s time to make the effort to show yourself compassion and love and let go of the negative worry.
Be the person you want to become. Even if you’re only acting the part. Do that long enough and it will become your second nature response. Wipe the slate clean. No more automatic negative criticisms. No more loathing of others or their actions in your head. Remind your self to have patience and trust in the flow of Divine energy.
Everything happens for a reason in its right time and place. Trust that your efforts to make things better, to endure and persivere are making a difference. Even if you don’t see it right now. Surround yourself with the positives in Mind, Body and Spirit and give yourself a break.
There’s no benefit to being hard on yourself. Or expecting more from you than from others. Love yourself and you won’t need the approval of those around you. Because you are doing the best you can to become the best person you can be. But it must start with you making the effort to forgive and let go of the anger and hurt. It’s the only way to allow for healing and positive change to take place. Now get to it.
