Today’s Tarot Meditation Drawing: Knight of Swords – Inverted

The Gilded Tarot by Ciro Marchetti - Knight of Swords : Inverted

The Gilded Tarot by Ciro Marchetti

Make room for the spiritual journey and expand your perspectives of righteousness. Thinking, speaking and acting superior to others based on personal beliefs is not walking the path of virtue. It closes off the heart and the ability to show compassion. Your way isn’t the only way, nor does it authorize you to degrade or disrespect the ways of others. Whither the walk is one of spirit, relationships, family or even in business other views can still get the job done. Rise up and walk the path of knowledge and wisdom through the actions of tolerance.

Additional Insight:

Swords represent Strength & Weakness, Endurance & Struggle, Respect & Animosity.

Walking the path of superiority only brings stress and strife into your life. Being virtuous means you allow others to have their own thoughts and ideas even if you don’t agree with them. As long as those ideas are respectful to life of both human and nature, you can find room to respect and tolerate.

Having a sense of superiority in spiritual belief can carry over into all aspects of your world. Relationships are harder, family dynamics are colder, even professional and work situations can become tougher.

Today and through the weekend, spend time expanding your understanding of others and the walk they tread. Learning about others doesn’t mean you will become what they are. It doesn’t mean you’re questioning your own beliefs either. It means gaining an understanding of others and maybe discovering you have more in common than you once thought.

Refusing to understand the greater world you live in is not a strength of faith. It is a struggle of weakness and only breeds animosity. Not only for how you hold others in your view, but also how they hold you in their perspectives. You become a symbol of your kindred and through the negativity of disdain, judgment and anger you do a disservice to the beliefs you claim to hold dear.

Spend the day holding back judgments of others in all situations of your day. Carry that action through the weekend and take time to learn about others. Don’t be afraid to ask questions of those with differing opinions or views in an effort to understand why they look at things the way they do. Share your views from a personal position and not from a pulpit of condemnation or preaching.

Whither the situation of conflict is personal, family, work or spiritual we all have something to learn from each other. Even those in a position of authority doesn’t know it all. Be open, make an effort to practice the positive aspects of your belief and express your compassion and kindness. By the end of the weekend, you could not only advance your cause; but you could also change the world.
