Don’t throw away opportunities to feed your soul, but don’t accept everything that comes your way. Gifts come in many forms, but you should always take time to discover what strings are attached. Read the fine print and make sure you know what you maybe agreeing to. The hidden terms might be more than you want to pay. Or they could be more costly in the long run.

Not all gifts are good. Some come from those trying to manipulate you or take advantage of the situation. You need to look at the fine print without the rose-colored glasses and see behind the scenes.

You might discover the opportunity is exactly what you’ve been working so hard for and it’s finally arrived. But you might also discover that to achieve the dream right now means giving away the prizes you’ve already won. You must determine which is more important to you and what you’re willing to release in order to have it in this moment.

Everything in its right time and place. Be patient if you have to wait. Don’t panic and allow yourself to be forced into something you don’t really want to do. Ask questions, get clarification. And if you’re not given clear answers or the benefactor becomes frustrated with your hesitancy, take that as a sign that you should walk away.

Those who are on your side will take time to ensure you’re comfortable and ok with all the fine print. They will attempt to put all the cards on the table and be transparent in what’s attached to the gift they bring. Those taking advantage of you will allow their frustration to show and push you harder into a situation that only benefits them.

Keep in mind that beyond every cloud is a silver lining. Even if you can’t have your ultimate prize today, it is coming your way. Waiting for it will be more beneficial than sacrificing what you’ve already achieved. Or settling for less than you deserve. Don’t under value your worth.

Your time is coming. Don’t turn your back on all that you’ve worked for in order to “hurry up” the process. Be cautious, don’t cut corners that may put others at risk. Don’t fall into “get it quick” schemes that don’t serve you at all. You deserve the best. You’ve worked hard for it. Sometimes remembering that you’ve earned the right to acquire the best is worth more than getting it right now.
