Be careful what you’re feeding yourself. It maybe the worst thing you could take in. A fire in your belly isn’t necessarily a good thing. Angry emotions, hurt feelings, or simply bad food all have an impact on your mood and your ability to get things done. Time to stop fooling yourself and to be honest with what’s really going on. Time to make healthy changes for Mind/Body and Spirit.
Additional Insight:
The Devil is in the details. You already know you’re not doing what needs to be done. The only person you’re harming is yourself. Change is not as bad as you’re thinking it is and it’s not going to destroy your world either. Stop it! Stop the put downs, the denials and the self-destruction. Start walking your talk and get to doing what you need to get done for your own sake!
The Devil made me do it? Stop blaming others and take responsibility for your actions. All that critical thinking and being hard on yourself only takes away your energy to take care of you. The negative self talk isn’t going to help you. It’s going to take away any inspiration or dedication you have to believe in yourself and believe that you’re worth the effort to succeed.
If the situation is emotional, than make the change to honor yourself with love and compassion. If it’s physical, then vow to create a healthier you for your own self preservation. If it’s spiritual, then know that the Divine in your life, and all the spiritual support you have are not judging you. Rather all those who care about you, here in the physical world and there in spirit simply want to be there to offer help and support for you to turn things around for the better.
If you need help than don’t be afraid to ask for it. Whither it’s family, friends or professional consultations, you have the resources around you to help. Time to buck up and start being part of the solution to your own dilemmas. It may take a little effort to turn the corner at first. But once you’ve changed direction, things will become much easier. You’ll be able to stoke the fire for the right cause and keep things moving for a better outcome.
You have the ability to face the future without rose-colored glasses. You don’t have to be afraid of what’s really going on. Be honest about the mistakes you’ve made. Accept the result and vow to change these things for your own good. You deserve that much from yourself. Put yourself first and take care of what needs to be altered above all else for the remainder of the week. When you get through this week, take care of yourself for next week. And the next week. Soon an entire month will have past and the changes you’ve made will become old hat and common place. You can do this. And you do deserve the effort.
