Be careful what you ask for, somethings come with a shock attached that can knock you off your feet. The grass is always greener on the other side, because you’re too far away to see the weeds. Don’t let the warped view of others, alter your course. You don’t see what they see, nor have you walked in their shoes. Show some compassion and try to look at things from their side. You might be trying to get to the same place.

Everyone has their view of the world around them. And even when they’re standing right next to you, what can be seen and how it’s viewed will be different. Your experiences always warp your view and no two people have gone through the exact same things in life.
You may see flaws, when they see blessings. You may see the glass half empty, when they’re excited to merely have a glass. When you can’t walk in their shoes, try to show some compassion instead of making them see things your way. Attempt to understand where they’re coming from and respond differently to their knee jerk reactions. You could be hitting a nerve that has never been able to heal. And they’re responding to those deep wounds that seriously color their view.
