Needing a little help isn’t a sign of weakness. It doesn’t mean you are incapable of taking care of yourself or what needs to be done. There are two sides to everything and today, you can allow someone to help you and at the same time give them the blessing of learning about compassion and kindness.

Tomorrow when you’re feeling better, you can return the favor or pay it forward to someone else. But be kind to yourself today and allow the Divine Universe to work through others who can give you a hand and help you get things done.

If you remain on your stubborn course and try to do it all, be all things to everyone who needs you; you’re likely to over do it and cause a physical issue to arise. Don’t hurt your back, or stumble, fall and break a leg. Don’t deplete your energy and become susceptible to the latest cold or flu going around. Your ego and pride aren’t worth the price you might end up paying.

Giving to someone in need is as much of a blessing as accepting the help. We all must learn all sides of an issue to fully understand what it means and to experience its energy for higher consciousness. How can you understanding giving, if you have not received? How can you appreciate receiving if you have not given? Allow yourself to be open and learn the lessons that cross your path today with gratitude and thanks.

Watch out for the sucker punch. Someone around you is trying to get more than they deserve. They’ll use misdirection to pull your focus over here, when it should really be over there. Don’t let others distract you and keep you from doing what you need to get done. Their motives are not in your best interest.

Someone is trying to use you for their own gains by taking advantage of your work and focus. Humility is one thing, but sometimes you need to stand up and be proud of yourself for what you have accomplished. “Ego” is not a bad word or a bad thing to have. A healthy ego is what’s needed for today and you must find that balance between not enough and too much within yourself.

Whither someone is trying to ride on your coat tails, or they’re simply trying to claim your work as theirs; today is a day to be wary of those who don’t have your best interests to heart. They’re trying to manipulate you so that they can claim credit for your hard work, while they’re distracting you with something that is totally irrelevant.

Make sure you’re making it known and abundantly clear to higher ups what you’ve produced and what has been a team effort. Standing up for yourself and showing confidence isn’t the same as being arrogant and egotistical. Sometimes you have to surrender in order to fight for the important things. Pick your battles. Don’t try to take on everything all at once. You don’t have to be overwhelmed if you don’t want to be. Throwing up your hands and walking away from a fight will help you reserve your efforts for what’s really important on your path.

If you try to fight every situation as it crosses your path, you’ll wear yourself out and deplete your energies. You don’t have to fight everyone at every turn for reasons that aren’t even your own. Some of the battles you’re engaging in aren’t even yours to take on in the first place.

Choose your battles carefully and make sure you’re picking the ones that need to be fought in order to take you forward. The battles that keep you in the past aren’t worth your time and they certainly aren’t worth your efforts. So let them go and turn around to face the future.

Select the battles that will break down the barriers and overcome the obstacles that are in your way to success. Overcome the fears and self doubts you’re carrying around within. Stop the negative self talk! Especially the doubting talk that was put on your shoulders by others. Their limitations of you are not yours to carry. Don’t second guess yourself today. You have the knowledge and expertise to be in the position you’ve been asked to take. Now stand tall and lead the way so others can learn from your experience.

Everyone reaches the level of teacher at some point in their life. For some it maybe early on because they heard a calling and started their journey from the get go. For others it may come from a lifetime of learning, experience and the hands on doing the work. Whatever your path, you’ve earned the right to be the expert in the task presented today.

Make sure you listen to those around you and give them the same respect and consideration they will afford to you. You might still learn something. But don’t be afraid to explain why this way will work and that one might not be the best solution. You don’t have to humiliate them for their ideas. Sometimes what we learn in a class room can only be implemented in the perfect situations that rarely exist in the real world. Explain that and you’ll be able to share your knowledge from the experiences you have so they can be aware of what to look out for next time they’re faced with the same issue.

Bottom line is, you are the one who has been given the task to manage the tasks of the day. You were giving that position because you’ve earned it. Whither it’s by happenstance or some boss gave you the assignment, you wouldn’t be put in this position if you weren’t ready to handle it. Now stand tall, be confident and get it done.

Don’t rest on the past, it never lasts and will crumble beneath your feet. What you’ve been searching for is in front of you. Focus on moving the energy around you forward toward the change you need and desire. Keep your eyes on the future and work on the plans you have put into place. Nothing lasts for ever and you must keep moving forward to change the shadowy storm clouds of the day.

Remember that out of Chaos comes Creation and that’s what will be happening today. The more you try to hold onto the past, the harder the change toward the future will be.  Stop looking at the old ways of doing things or the old obstacles that have been in your way. All you’ll do is feed them energy to keep recurring and keep you anchored in the trauma of yesterday.

Stop telling their story. Stop feeding them energy by sharing their message of struggle. Stop giving them the attention they want, because they desire to hold you back in their world. Stop talking about the people who did you wrong, held you back or broke your dreams. Do you want them in your future? Do you really want to give them that much power and control over you today? Each time you mention their name, tell their story or even think of the wrongs they did to you; that’s exactly what you’re doing.

The Death card has always held a message of transition. How that change happens is entirely up to you. Let go and Let God is not simply a euphemism to give you faith that things will change and get better. It’s also a warning that holding onto those things that do not serve you well will only bring you down further into more of the same struggles.

Sit pretty and be patient. Magik is at work behind the scenes. The energy sent out takes a little time to work its way into manifestation. You’ve done what you can, now let go and let “God”. You have a little time to get some other things done in order to be ready for when everything else falls into place. Don’t try to rush things. You’ll risk pushing away what you’re trying to build. Relax a little and stay focused on the tasks at hand. Let the big stuff develop as it may, in its right time and place.

If you start pushing others to make decisions before they are ready, you’ll risk the chance of delaying or destroying what you’ve been working for. Be patient! Let the Divine force in your life work toward bringing you the dreams you’ve been trying to create. They may not be exactly as you wished; but they will be exactly as you need them to be.

You’ve worked too hard to give up now. Change is in the air and you may even sense the shift in energy around you. Don’t let that get you over excited, or cause you to leap before things are in place to jump to! It might be a long fall if you do. So don’t go on the shopping spree, or plan the vacation or start doing business before you have all your I’s dotted and T’s crossed!

You have plenty of little things to work on to get the big picture painted with all the right amount of detail, shading and accents. Fill in the empty spaces, tweak the colors here and enhance the image over there. The weeds are not only holding you down, they’re blocking out the light that needs to get through and will show you the way forward. Let it burn and be patient through the weekend as the energies around you shift. Out of the ash you will rise again, better than ever before!

Today’s events will be wonderful and exciting for those who have been working toward change. But it could be hard and difficult for those who have been fighting to keep the status quo.

The Divine Universe has a way of pushing you forward even when you’re trying hard not to go there. If you’re holding onto old stuff that has no purpose or place in your life today, expect things to change. Even if you have to be forced into it, it’s going to happen.

The only constant in the universe is that things change. Don’t be afraid of moving forward and taking the next steps. Don’t be afraid of making changes you know need to be done. Rule with fairness as you watch over your domain. Be calm and attentive, but don’t make decisions until you understand the entire story. There are little details hidden in the shadows that you’re going to need to be aware of. Take time to look for them and then you can make informed decisions.

It’s not a day for contracts, promises or even verbal agreements. So if you can put off decisions until tomorrow, you may want to do just that. It will give you time to read the fine print, research issues or similar agreements, and make sure you have all your bases covered.

Some hidden facts need to be uncovered before you dive into long term agreements head-long. Understand the full scope of what you’re agreeing to before you shake hands, sign your name and pop the cork to celebrate. Getting out of a contract is equally important is what you’re getting into. So you may want to make sure you have an exit strategy.

Some details may simply be obscured and uncovering them will make the picture bigger. They may not change your mind about the decision you’ll be making, but they could uncover fine print that you want removed and don’t want to agree to. Removing it now will save you a good deal of trouble later.

You are in control of your domain, so stop blaming others for things not going exactly as you wanted. You can’t hide from your responsibilities and then expect things to turn out the way you need them too. Leave the excuses behind and let healing begin. If you look into your heart, you’ll see you already knew all this. Make sure you’re giving attention to what you need to get done and do it. You’ll be ok, so don’t be afraid to make the calls, fill out the paper work or bring things to resolution.

You are the one making the choices that direct your path. Even making a choice to do nothing or leave it to someone else is your decision. If they don’t carry the ball, remember you could have been there to nudge them forward. You could have asked for it back so you could hand off the task to someone more reliable.

There are many options we’re presented with in a day. When activities must get done, it’s up to us to work on them and make sure they get done. The Priest isn’t talking about doing the dishes, mowing the lawn or running to the store for that special box of icing. Those things aren’t worth getting angry about.
