Remember that worry makes you weary. Time to stop dwelling on things that cannot be changed. A chapter is over, it’s ok to grieve. But dwelling on that grief won’t change the outcome and it won’t bring you peace. Everything happens in its right time and space. When it’s over, it’s over. Let it go and move on.
Change is hard, we all know that. But change is the only constant in the Universe. You can’t stop it, you can turn back the clock. All you can do is manage how you allow events in your life to affect you today and into the future. The more you hold onto those situations of change, the more control you’re giving to the event that occurred. Let go of the struggle and move forward for your own sake.
“You cannot change the past. You can only change the way
you allow the past to affect your present and your future.”

Just because you have others to think about, doesn’t mean forsaking your own Mind, Body and Spirit. Being a whole and balanced you will be better for everyone concerned. Whither you need to take a stand or accept the consequences of a decision already made. It’s time to put the struggle to rest and move forward for the betterment of yourself, and all others concerned. The choice isn’t going to be as hard as you’re worrying it will be. So stop thinking the worst!
Too much of anything isn’t good for you. You can grieve yes. You can fight, of course. But when you’re doing nothing but spinning your wheels and not making any headway, you’ve probably gone to the extreme and that’s never good. Don’t give up your moral compass, whatever that is for you. Sometimes we’re pushed to extremes as a means for the Universe to tell us “enough, get out and move on”. You’ve done what you can, you’ve learned what you came for, now it’s time to let go and move forward. Give others the control they need to make their own choices. You’ve done enough and you can’t save those who don’t want to be saved.
Tonight, make peace with your choices. Those you can’t change are done. Those you can work with to move forward, accept them. Allow yourself to “get it out” and let it go. Even if that means writing a letter to yourself, to tell your story. Do it, and release all the inner grief and struggle. Once you get it out, it can’t hold onto you any longer. Dry your eyes, you are not alone and you will survive for a better tomorrow. Really, it’s going to be ok!
