Someone is watching out for you, even if you don’t notice when they go out on a limb. You don’t have to focus on rationing what you have through the next six months, so relax a little. That doesn’t mean you can go out on the town every night either. It means living within your means and you’ll get through the early stages of your come back. Don’t be afraid to get some expert advice. Simply make sure the expert has your best interest at heart. Always be in control of your world and make your own decisions. Don’t give that power to someone else, even if they’re on your side. Soon you’ll be able to share your abundance and what you learned on the path of getting through the struggles of lack.

It’s great that you’re finally seeing and feeling the changes in energy around your personal world. So let go of the fear that’s holding you back from reasonably moving things forward. You don’t have to ration out what you have in the cupboard like you did last month. It’s ok to share some of the new abundance and give everyone a little more on their plate.

It’s still not time to be going out three or four times a week and blowing the allowance you’ve set for yourself. In order to keep things moving forward you must create a budget and stick to it! Live with in your means, not within the champagne budget you wish or imagine you have. Be responsible and hold a little back for that one special celebration item.

Maybe it’s a cupcake for your kids on Wednesday night. Or a scoop of ice cream on Saturday afternoon. Maybe a visit to the local museum is your thing, Perhaps that extra dollar or five can be dropped into a holiday saving account so you can gather up the extra finances for a present under the tree next month.

Whatever that special thing is for you, stay in your budget. Be in control of your own destiny by being responsible for which side of the road you walk down. If you’re in a position that requires a budget, than take responsibility and start learning about and managing your allotments. Don’t give it to someone else to do. Either do it together with your partner, or do it yourself and stick to the limitations you set.

Little by little over the next six months you’ll find a little more extra in your budget to refill your coffers. You’ll be turning things around for you and your immediate family, along with breaking old patterns of lack. If you haven’t already taken that form of responsibility over your own life, then it’s time to start. Starting with right now on this day!

Just remember, this successful turn around wasn’t achieved alone. You’ve had a lot of help. Don’t let those supporters down and go back to your old habits. Put what you learned into practice and you’ll never have to go through this again.

There are a lot of people out there who don’t know how to create a budget. And there’s certainly a great deal of advice out there to discover on the internet. Don’t feel overwhelmed and allow that to stop you from trying. You don’t have to acquire an Accounting degree. In fact, you don’t really even have to know how to add. There’s an app, or template for that.

If you have a PC, you probably have some form of Microsoft Excel. Check out the many Excel Budget Templates you can download and start using. There are many to choose from. From elaborate to simple.

If you have a Mac, I’m sure you can find the same type of template for Apple’s office suit as well.

Either way, find a template that looks like something you can work with and start filling in numbers.

All you really need to get started is a list of expenses for each month, subtracted from your monthly income. If you don’t bring enough in to cover those expenses; it’s time to make cuts. Cancel those paper and magazine subscriptions. Cut the extra sports or movie channels you’re paying for on your cable/satellite provider. You might need to give up going out to eat for a little while. Or buying extra items to fund your favorite hobby.

Change your spending habits to purchase store brands instead of name brands. When you notice that something like Wavy Lays cost $4.59 and the store brand of Wavy Chips are 2.39, that 50% savings on many items in your grocery cart can really add up. Add a few coupons and you could be making that $80 for groceries go a long way for a month. Yes, some folks have only an extra $80 (if they’re lucky) for groceries for an entire month. Necessity is the mother of invention. There’s much we can learn about ourselves when we’re forced to do so. Don’t let it come to that. You can do this. It’s not as hard as you think.

These things aren’t permanent. Temporary cutting the budget might help you get through the rough time, to turn things around and create your own recovery.
