Today’s Tarot Meditation Drawing: Seven Of Cups – Inverted

Seven of Cups - Inverted

Mystic Faery Tarot by Linda Ravenscroft

Be careful how far you tip your bucket to scoop up the things around you. You might find that you’re loosing more than you’re gaining. Take what’s owed to you and no more. The net of greed can easily pull you down and drown you in its depths.

Additional Insight:

There’s nothing wrong with wanting a good life. The Divine force you have in your life doesn’t want you to struggle and face hardship every moment of your existence. But there’s a difference between living well and constantly taking more than you’re due.

Even if you have not attained that materialistic life you dream of, be careful about what you’re willing to do in order to get it. Don’t compromise your principles. Don’t ignore your inner voice or focus on getting what you want at all costs. Forsaking your values, your family or your reputation will not gain you what you really seek to have.

Greed is an ugly trait to possess. It can cloud your judgement and lead you down a path of darkness and no return. Be careful who you align your mission with to obtain the material things you desire. You might find the price they require you to pay is more than you’re willing to give. And you might find out when it’s too late to say “no”.

Don’t think you can balance out the greed of the material things with giving donations of compassion. Anyone can write a check when they have the extra finances. It takes little effort and it’s an impersonal gesture that really has little value in the cosmic scheme of things.

Take some time today to remember what’s really important in your life. The love of family, the companionship of friends and the joy of simple pleasures have more value than all the material things in the world. Be thankful for those things you do have and remember to share them with those around you with compassion and gratitude. You may discover you’re much richer than the person you see in the 1% of our society.

Today’s Tarot Meditation Drawing: Ten of Wands – Inverted

10 of Wands - Inverted

Mystic Faery Tarot by Linda Ravenscroft

You can’t keep others quiet so be very careful with who you trust your secrets to. Some people aren’t as much of a friend to you as you think they are. And others would rather be “respected” as the town crier who knows everything. Don’t be a pawn in their games and choose your friends wisely.

Additional Insight:

This weeks messages seem to revolve around communication. Be careful how and with who you’re communicating with.

Respect is earned, not given. Make sure those you are talking to have earned your respect enough to tell them your secrets. Some “friends” are less confidants than they are acquaintances. They would much prefer to be the “go to” person for news in town than the person who could be trusted with a secret.

Make sure you’re sharing your secret to share in a celebration and not to brag, or gloat. Make sure your secret isn’t news that someone else shared with you.

Trust is somewhat a lost art in our busy social media world today. It’s a trait that deserves a great deal of respect when it’s earned. Ask yourself why are others surprised when they finally hear news that you’ve known for months. Do they have such a low opinion of you? Or do they expect you to be like everyone else and betray the confidence that was given to you so easily?

You may find that you get much further in your mission, your goals and your position by being someone who can be trusted. It’s an honorable title to wear and it’s even more humbling when others trust you with private information, because they have to tell someone or they’ll bust. Not only may you be the first to know! But you could also be the first to help them celebrate. How kewl is that?!

Today’s Tarot Meditation Drawing: Ten of Swords – Inverted

10 of Swords - Inverted

Mystic Faery Tarot by Linda Ravenscroft

Don’t let the potential of getting hurt, keep you from opening your heart to love. Instead take a look within yourself and find what’s causing you to make bad choices? You might find that the issue is with your own thinking about what you deserve or can achieve.

Additional Insight:

We attract what we think and that includes what we think we deserve. Often times the cycle of bad relationships is nothing more than a reflection of how we view ourselves. When we see ourselves as lacking, not being good enough, being a bother, a handful or troublesome, we attract people with those traits and they always let us down.

The cycle creates a pattern and over time it alters our view we have of ourselves. We begin to believe that we don’t deserve the good life, or the good relationship we see others around us having. All that negative self talk attracts the exact opposite of what we want.

There’s no such thing as the perfect, always happy, always harmonious relationship. The truth is, people argue. How you argue and what you argue about is what makes the difference in making it work. Whither it’s your young and facing your first serious relationship, or it’s later in life and you’re going through changes and reflection, everyone has baggage to carry. Don’t put your issues on someone else’s shoulders and expect them to know how to deal with you by osmosis. You can’t read their mind, don’t expect them to be able to read yours either.

Relationships take work and effort to last.  Dreaming about the perfect relationship is great, but only if you stop the negative talk within and work on your own baggage. No matter what you think your problems are, you are the one in control of them. If you don’t like something about yourself, then change it.

No matter what it is, you can find a way to make positive changes and become the person you’re looking to love. Love yourself and others will see what you have to offer that’s worth loving and worth partnering with to create the “perfect” relationship.

Today’s Tarot Meditation Drawing: Six of Swords

Six of Swords

Mystic Faery Tarot by Linda Ravenscroft

Sometimes it’s ok to look back and see how far you’ve come. Be proud of your accomplishments and let them overshadow your failures. You’ve worked hard, done much, made changes and improved your spirit far beyond what you’re allowing yourself to see.

Additional Insight:

Looking back isn’t a bad thing if you use it as a gauge for where you are today. You have worked hard and put a lot of energy into recreating you and your life. Take a moment to see what you’ve accomplished and how far you come.

Don’t dwell on the mistakes or the things that didn’t go right. Instead learn from those things and allow them to teach you for the future. Dwelling on the past puts thorns under your feet and blocks the way forward. Or worse sets an anchor that holds you back from your path.

You deserve to be proud of where you are and how far you’ve come. You deserve to feel good about where you are today compared to the past. And you deserve the happiness and the success you’ve been striving for.

So don’t let the nay-sayers or the unhappy people from the past try to keep you where they are. It’s not your place to grovel with them so they feel better about where they are. They’re afraid of letting you go, because it means they have to look in the mirror and see how far they are from making changes in their own life.

Allow yourself to be happy and stop judging your path by someone else’s standards. You know how much work you’ve done. You know how much you’ve changed. You know how hard it has been and the amount of energy it took to do it. Live by your own standards and be proud of where you are and how much you’ve accomplished.

Today’s Tarot Meditation Drawing: The Fool

The Fool

Mystic Faery Tarot by Linda Ravenscroft

Don’t go bowling with your insight and hope you hit the right pins. Pay attention to your concentration and focus. Don’t take your own intuition for granted, it’s trying to tell you something important. It might be exactly what you need to avoid being the fool, today and through the weekend.

Additional Insight:

Having good intuition is something every living animal needs and possesses. When you treat it like a parlor trick to impress others or in attempts to gain control over others, it can easily backfire on you over time.

If you dismiss it and ignore what your gut is trying to highlight, you could make choices that adversely impact your day, weekend, year and maybe even your entire life.

Our instincts are both our first line of defense and helps us to play offense and take advantage of opportunities as they arise. Only a fool would ignore the gut feelings they have, especially when they know deep down something isn’t right or is about to happen, good, bad or indifferent.

It seems we’re often open to the negative and feel that instinct the strongest. But if you pay attention to your gut feelings about people you meet, situations you find yourself in or events that are building up around you, you can discern the best course of action for yourself. No matter what your gut feeling says to you, listen to it, mark it in your mind and hold it until something proves it wrong, or confirms your feeling. Perhaps you’ll be able to put yourself in the right place at the right time and achieve the success you’ve been working so hard to achieve.

Today’s Tarot Meditation Drawing: The Chariot

The Chariot

Mystic Faery Tarot by Linda Ravenscroft

Make sure you’re moving forward in balance. Don’t ignore the part of you that gives you motivation. But make sure you temper that side in order to remain and focused. The balance of emotions will take you forward in your search to succeed.

Additional Insight:

Too much of anything can be bad for you. Being angry and allowing gut emotions to rule can cause you to miss important details or overreact without considering the consequences and outcome.

Being to passive can allow others to take advantage of you without proper recourse which can undermine your goals.

It’s ok to get angry as long as you temper your emotions. Focus on what’s important and keep an eye on the bigger picture. It’s ok to remain at peace as long as you make sure others are not using that against you in competition to succeed.

Stand up for yourself with clarity and calm. You have a right to fight for yourself and what is rightfully yours in business as well as in personal situations. But remember what is yours is not the ownership over someone else, their emotions or what they choose to do. Govern you own house with clarity and balance. If you loose the fight, it wasn’t meant to be yours in the first place.

Today’s Tarot Meditation Drawing: Ten of Cups – Inverted

Ten of Cups - Inverted

Mystic Faery Tarot by Linda Ravenscroft

No matter how upside down things maybe, it’s never a wrong time to offer compassion and caring. Even those who don’t agree can find common ground to stand on in the name of peace and kindness. Don’t allow the words or actions of others, destroy or impact your ability to work toward a common resolution that benefits everyone.

Additional Insight:

It takes all kinds of personalities to get the job done. Some people are good at visualizing the possibilities, others are good at working out the details and some are best at implementing the plan. Share what you’re best at and allow others to implement their skill set in the best way that fits their talents.

Remember there are many ways to do the same thing. Your way isn’t the only way. Confusion and conflict arise when teams don’t communicate their intent or plan and others are left to decipher their intentions on their own.

Don’t expect others to know what you’re going to do, or what you are doing by osmosis. To them, you could be walking away to do nothing. To you, the plan might be in the works and all set to go.

Allow your ego to express trust and compassion to share your vision and express your plan. Of all days, this is the day for open communication and sharing. Don’t put it off, don’t assume you’ll take care of it tomorrow. Share your perspective and you might find the conflict that was brewing can be resolved with ease through understanding.

Today’s Tarot Meditation Drawing: Seven of Wands – Inverted

Seven Of Wands: Inverted

Mystic Faery Tarot by Linda Ravenscroft

Showing compassion, concern and regret after the fact doesn’t alleviate the harm that was done. No matter where the directions come from, you are still the one responsible and in control of your actions. It’s better to deal with the consequences of saying “No” than it is being culpable in the offense from the start.

Additional Insight:

We’ve all done things we regret and many do their best to make up for it after the harm has occurred. Better to try to make amends for your part in the action, than to do nothing at all.

But the real issue is that the offense happened in the first place. Either from knee jerk reactions, built up anger, or more likely some form of fear. “What happens to me if I don’t do it?” is a poor excuse for going along with something you know to be wrong.

Paying the price up front by saying “No” or standing up to bullies who try to manipulate others for their own selfish means gains you much more than you will lose by going along with the harm.

Wounds will heal, but the scars they leave behind within the emotions and memories of those injured never go away. No matter how long they’ve been there, how much they’ve faded, the memory still exists. And from that moment on, the person who was wounded will always have a built-in reaction to anything similar to the harm you caused.

Don’t be the one who goes along with the crowd. Be the one who stands up for what’s right and says “No” in the face of harm. Allow yourself to be rewarded for being strong and brave in the face of hate, violence and anger. It might be the harder road at times, but in the end it’s the brighter path to tread.

Take time each day to align your thoughts and heart with the Divine presence in your life. When things occur you’ll be able to see the motives from a higher perspective. You’ll be able to tap into the strength that gives you the courage to say “No, that’s enough” or “I’m not going to let that happen”. Gain the positive karma that will carry you to the higher road of life and bless the path you walk with integrity, dignity and respect.

Today’s Tarot Meditation Drawing: Eight of Cups –

Eight of Cups

Mystic Faery Tarot by Linda Ravenscroft

If you ride on the coat tails of others; make sure you know where they’re dragging you to. It’s your reputation that’s on the line and others are not going to care how you got there. It might harder to walk your own path, but at least you’ll control where you’re going, and how you got there.

Additional Insight:

Those you follow may seem like they’re walking the higher ground. They talk the talk and preach the good fight. But actions speak louder than words and you may not be privy to what’s going on behind closed doors, hushed tones or through code and sign language.

It’s never a good idea to put someone up on a pedestal and assume they live their life in the perfection they preach to others. Everyone is human and we all have our faults. Even the best of us sneak an extra cookie now and then. It’s ok to give someone your respect when they’ve earned it. But make sure they’ve earned it for the right reasons. The last thing you want to have happen is watch your heroes fall and take you with them when they do.

The solution is to remember we all have strengths and weaknesses. Admire the strengths and try to learn from them by implementing what you like onto your own path. Don’t do something because someone tells you to, no matter what the promise or threat. If you don’t think it’s a good idea, if you feel in your gut that it’s something you shouldn’t do, then you shouldn’t do it. Because you’ll be the one held responsible for it.

Put yourself on the pedestal for others to look up to. Hold admiration and respect for yourself first. It will help you through the hard times, support you through the issues and help you to innovate, adapt and overcome. You deserve that kind of respect. If you give it to yourself first, then you’ll always walk the path of good intentions and protect your reputation throughout your life.

Today’s Tarot Meditation Drawing: Knave of Swords – Inverted

Knave of Swords - Inverted

Mystic Faery Tarot by Linda Ravenscroft

Flip things around and you’ll not only have a good weekend, but you’ll probably have some fun as well.  Everyone needs a break and that’s certainly true for you household. Take the opportunity to get away from the stress and anger. Even if it’s a walk in the park, get out of the house for a bit.

Additional Insight:

Clear and cleanse the energy in your home and then get out for a bit to let things settle down. You need the change of scenery, the fresh air and the relaxation to change your perspectives. Things are not all doom and gloom and you’re putting a shadow over everything by thinking it is.

The important things are not the “items” stuck inside your home. They’re the connections you have with your family and those you care most about. So get away from the gadgets and go do something fun and exciting.

Make sure you watch your budget though. You’re still in the mode of playing the conservative game. but there are plenty of fun free things you can do, so don’t let the finances stop you.
