Once again this week, the card of the day focuses on balance. Even too much of a good thing isn’t good for you. So watch out how much play and revelry you participate in. Some are still keeping their nose to the grindstone and your participation in the loud festivities could be noticed by the wrong people.

Raise your glass, have a piece of cake and exchange the pleasantries of the event, happy birthday, anniversary or a simple congratulations. Then get back to your own thing and focus on what needs to be completed by the end of the day. It’s ok to say “no” when you’re being invited to something that wasn’t in your plan to get things done.

Every creature on Earth uses judgement during their day. It’s not a bad thing. It’s how we make choices and weigh decisions. Good judgement keeps us prepared, safe and out of the gloom. Bad judgements destroy reputations, goals and even lives. The Fairy of Judgement from the Major Arcana reminds us that we must live in balance with our spirit while making choices here in the physical world. That our choices have long-lasting effects, even if we can’t see the karma that comes with them.

When you remain calm and at peace, you will make the right judgements. But don’t let the whimsical, devil-may-care attitudes of others get in the way and pull you out into their world of darkness. There are consequences to every action and this is not the time for you to be throwing caution to the wind for a short period of fun. You have much to lose and for some, you could lose everything. No matter what challenges you’ve faced, or are facing now, you’re not alone. No one said you can’t be kind, compassionate or friendly when you’re out in the world facing your own struggles. Talk to a stranger, wish someone a good day and strike up a conversation, even if it’s only about the weather. That small exchange of energy will make a big difference in your day and help to lift you up out the gloom.

Stop thinking the worst! You’re being guided and taken care of as needed. The crystal ball isn’t ready to divulge its secrets yet. Because you’re not ready to hear or see the news. Not to mention, things are still in the works and coming together. You don’t want to ruin the surprise do you? Well then stop worrying so much!

Work on healing your physical condition right now. Catch up on your sleep, do something to relax your mind and exercise your imagination. A walk through the woods would be a nice option. It doesn’t cost anything to explore the world around you. Stop and investigate the small things you find along the way. Get back to who you are, inside yourself and connected with nature. Don’t allow others to brand you with their labels. Don’t get baited into acting and reacting the way someone else expects you to. Their assumptions are based on old rumors and past actions. You have changed and grown over the past several months and you’re not who you used to be. Have the courage to break those old patterns and walk the path of the new you.

Someone is trying to enter your domain and cause trouble to benefit themselves. They’re not willing to take responsibility for their own actions. And they’re fearful that someone in authority will discover their drastic mistakes. Of course it’s not as bad as they think it is. But they will try to push the accountability off to you and make it become a big deal in your lap.

Swords can bring strength and courage to any situation. But it’s a double edge sword that requires wisdom to hold the hilt steady. It’s a fine line to balance the energy that wants to fight or finds a better way through peace. If you plan on a fight, you will pull that energy toward you and create self-fulfilling prophecies. So be cautious today and through the weekend concerning your thoughts and reactions. 

Instead, be Mindful, calm and at peace. Avoid situations you know will lead to battles right now. There’s nothing wrong with taking a break and re-grouping your thoughts and energies. Rest, relax and take in the scenery to gain a refreshed perspective. Or simply get a way from it all for a brief respite. You could use the distraction to uplift your spirit.
