Don’t get tied up in the little negative things and allow them to distract you from the bigger picture. There’s a lot going on today, but you have your tasks to focus on. Let others deal with their issues and don’t get in the middle. The fight that’s going on will sort itself out, and without your help.

You have enough on your table as it is. Focus on your tools and tricks and you’ll get more done than you expected to. But don’t allow the nitty-gritty angry words flying around you to get in the way of your work. Don’t allow others to pull you into their battles, unless it specifically concerns you and your reputation.

The fight from last week has died down a bit. But it’s still an issue and must be resolved. However, it’s not your fight to wage. You raised the problem, now it’s time to let the higher-ups deal with it. Focus on your projects and enjoy the good things that come your way that specifically deal with your tasks. You can’t hide under the mushrooms and avoid the conflict stirring around you. Running away doesn’t solve the problem. In fact, today and this weekend, it could put you at a great disadvantage. Be calm, but speak up for yourself. Don’t let others try to bully you out of a position you worked hard to acquire.

Additional Insight:

Bullies always have ulterior motives. They want to push you around so they feel better about themselves. They don’t want to do the work that goes behind being dependable, they want others to do it for them. And if they can’t hover over your work, they fear the perception that they’re not doing a good job or getting things done.

When they stand on their own, they lose the courage to stand up for themselves. They always have henchmen doing their bidding. Don’t focus on the messengers, they’re not the real issue. Pay attention to the leader of the group and you’ll have more opportunity to put them in their place and off your back. Continue reading →

Be careful when you pet the head of a dragon. He can still turn around and bite you. Sadly not everyone in your day is going to be on your side. Show compassion and be kind, but don’t assume your good deed will turn things around. Someone may seem nice to you in response, but you can’t trust them. And you know who they are.

Additional Insight:

Sometimes there are people in our world that just decide they don’t like us. We may never know why or what we have done to cause the negative reaction. But deep down we can feel their unfriendly nature toward us. Maybe we remind them of who they wish they could be. Whither it’s jealousy or fear, it’s not your place to explain the lesson they face.

When someone doesn’t like who we are, we can’t force them to change. You could try to “kill them with kindness” and despite their attitude show compassion and friendship. But whatever you do, don’t stir the pot and push their buttons. You’ll be the one who comes out looking like the bad guy. If you get angry or annoyed, you’re better off keeping your mouth shut and walking away.

A Cheetah can’t change its spots to be something you want it to be. You cannot learn lessons for others, all you can do is support who they are now. Manipulation of any kind will only push them away and you’ll lose them forever. Be cautious of the judgements you make today. The consequences could be disastrous.

Additional Insight:

Everyone is searching for something. Everyone has baggage that needs to be healed. You’re not the only one suffering right now, so don’t expect others to live up to your expectations. You’re only setting them up to fail and creating disappointment around yourself.

Be supportive by showing compassion and try talking about the mistakes from your own life. Use yourself as an example, but stay away from the mistakes you think you see in others. What you might see as an error in judgement, could be that persons willingness to take a brave chance to achieve their dream. It may not be your dream, but then again, it’s not your life either. Sometimes showing compassion without words is the greatest gift of support you can give; or receive. Love plays a big part in all our lives and in every aspect. Love of self, of a partner, of what you do, all permeates your life and can lift you out of hardship and agony. It creates a life that’s fruitful and abundant, allowing what you need to enter and fill the void of lack.

Additional Insight:

Love is the greatest energy in the Divine Universe. But it is often viewed only in partnerships. Love for your children, your parents, your partner, between family, even for your animal family are all important partnerships. But too often we forget about the love of self, both in the spiritual and physical perspectives.

Love is a force that does not judge harshly. It’s given with respect and held in that view through all things and all interactions. Too often we give it without condition to others, but we don’t give it to ourselves with the same regard. When we should be giving it to self more readily than to anyone else. We often make excuses for the actions of others, even when their actions are destructive toward us. This fear talking, allowing ourselves to be treated without consideration and kindness in order to maintain a partnership we know isn’t healthy or good for us. Continue reading →

That dream has as much chance of succeeding as any other if you put effort and work into it. Remember “luck is nothing more than preparedness meeting opportunity”.  So get prepared.

You deserve to acquire your dreams as much as the next person. As long as you’re not manipulating someone else to achieve it, you have as much right as anyone else to grasp the brass ring. But it’s not going to happen by osmosis. You can wish it into existence and expect it to come into reality.

Take time to work on your dream this afternoon and through the weekend. Read, study, research, sign up for a class to help you build the foundation for moving things forward. Simply because things seem to be upside down right now, doesn’t mean you’re going to lose everything. Stop worrying so much about what’s in your coffers and focus on the partnerships you have been blessed with. There’s much more to gain, then there is to lose.  And today it all depends on your perspective and what you’re willing to see.

Here in the northern hemisphere spring is the time for growth and expansion. In the southern hemisphere fall is the time to take stock and get prepared. You don’t have to take a chance or throw caution to the wind to get what you need. You simply need to focus on your plans and move forward with determination. All that negative talk you’ve been listening to this week is pulling you down. Turn off those recordings and ignore the nay-sayers.

You’ve worked hard to turn things around and you’ve succeeded. So why are you falling back on old patterns of distress? Yes there’s still some healing to go through, but it’s nothing like the mountain you climbed and traversed already. You crossed that great divide and you survived. Don’t pine away for the things that didn’t work out the way you wanted. They weren’t meant to be in your life anyway. There’s something better waiting for you and it’s not that far away. Take time re-adjust your thinking and look at the blessings you do have. All while being patient for the really good things to come your way.

What you “wanted” may not be what you “needed”. Sometimes we have to be pushed down the road to get where we need to be for our better interests and desires. Don’t settle for 2nd best or even 3rd. There’s a reason things didn’t work out, even if you don’t see what they are right now. Someone is watching out for you, even if you don’t know they are there.

You’ve been praying and lighting candles in an effort to manifest what you want. That’s great, don’t give it up. But you may not always see clearly when things cross your path. You could be allowing fear to push you into settling for something because you’re worried the real request will never be met. Stop that negative thinking. Ride ’em cowboy! Hang on it’s going to be an exciting ride through the day. Things are moving at a faster pace than you may have anticipated. Hold on and you’ll not only get through the ups and downs, but you’ll have some fun doing it. It’s another day to keep your focus and look at the situations with calm mindfulness.

Additional Insight:

You’ll be able to see what’s really going on and that will help keep your emotions in check. Others will be in dismay at your calm response, because they are expecting you to blow a gasket and allow anger to take over. Don’t give them the satisfaction of falling into their box. They are counting on you to lose control and prove their point to others. Remain calm and you’ll win another battle.

No one else can define who or what you are, unless you allow them to. So don’t take on their labels, or get upset about their pathetic insults. They don’t matter, because you know they’re not true. You make the choice about what kind of person you’re going to be. Own it! Be responsible for it and be willing to go against the negative expectations others have tried to lay on your shoulders. That’s their baggage, not yours. So don’t pick it up and you won’t have to carry it for them.
